Inorder to calculate the total cost of your relocation, we need to consider the following:

When you initially schedule your move with one of our Manhattan based sales representatives, your job will be assigned with an amount of labors which will determine your hourly rate. Our representatives our relocation specialists who will make sure you get the lowest quote possible. It is all determined by how much household goods you have, from where and to where you are moving, and of course-what kind of services you would like us to get done.

It is always a great idea to know exactly how much you are going to pay prior to the move. So Imperial Moving and Storage will always recommend a Written Binding Estimate. This can be given only when one of our representatives will come visit your home and observe for himself what exactly is necessary in order to complete your relocation. No Moving Company can give you a legal binding estimate without seeing your home first. Imperial Moving And Storage will travel to anywhere in New York, Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn. Queens, Staten Island, Long Island or Westchester in order to give you the right price for your move. This is with the full intention of making sure your move will be done that much smoother.

There is no extra charge for packing or unpacking your things. This is just additional time which will take to complete your relocation. Some New York Moving Companies may have extra fees, but we at Imperial Moving And Storage have decided that we would like to keep your cost to a minimum so basically the more you get done yourself prior to the mover's arrival the less you will pay for your relocation.

Again, there is no extra charge for Truck usage. No matter where you are moving to and from, Imperial Moving and Storage will not charge you for our truck or the mileage.

New York State Law requires every licensed moving company to charge for the total time that the truck is on the road, which means arriving to your origin and returning from your destination. Imperial Moving and Storage charges this in the easiest way. Depending on your addresses you are moving from and to we will charge an additional Travel Time fee. Moving inside Manhattan will be an additional half an hour at your same hourly rate, and moving outside of Manhattan can be an hour or more.

Imperial Moving and Storage will charge for boxes only per usage. We do provide on the day of your move FREE Wardrobe Boxes and TV boxes just because we know how hard it can be to pack your TV by yourself and also keeping a large amount of Wardrobes in your home is physically impossible.

If you are the owner of any type of plasma TV, please declare this ahead of time so that we can provide you with one of our custom made plasma crates. We charge $50.00 for the usage of the crate. It is important for us to make sure that your valuables arrive safely at your new location so this is one way for us to be that much more careful.
